What is The MYOPL Pickleball Scorekeeper?

The MYOPL Pickleball Scorekeeper is a specialized digital tool integrated into the MYOPL (My Open Play Leagues) ecosystem. Its primary purpose is to help you keep track of the games you have played by feeding real-time game data into a global rating system that provides you with a pickleball rating and rank’s you in the clubs, courts and leagues you join on MyOPL.

Here is a breakdown of what makes the MYOPL pickleball scorekeeper unique:

The Core Function: Real-Time Rating (OPL Rating)

The standout feature is that it calculates your OPL Rating in real-time. As you enter scores, the MYOPL system adjusts your skill level based on the quality of your opponents.

Official Rating: It is designed to be the “Official Rating System of Open Play Pickleball.”

Global Standing: Once a game is entered via the scorekeeper, you can see where you rank in your local club, city, state, or even globally.

Flexible Entry Modes

MYOPL offers several ways to log the score, depending on where you are playing:

Player Mode: You enter your own scores directly on your phone after a match.

Umpire Mode: A third party can be assigned to keep score for a competitive match.

Kiosk Mode: Some clubs provide a physical tablet or “Kiosk” on-court where players can tap in scores immediately after a game.

ProShop/Clubhouse: You can drop off your scores at the front desk, and they enter them into the MYOPL system for you.

Integrated League & Club Features

Because MYOPL is a community platform, the scorekeeper is linked to:

Match History: If you play against another MYOPL member, the system may already have your game history saved even before you sign up.

League Results: Standing results for any leagues you join on the platform are updated automatically through the scorekeeper.

Court Discovery: It helps you find players, courts, and clubs that also use the MYOPL system.
