Add Friends to a Group

Before you begin
The person must already be your MYOPL friend. Group admins can add friends; other members can add them only when Add friends as members is enabled. The friend's privacy settings must also allow the addition.
iPhone, iPad, Android, macOS, and Windows
- Open the group.
- Tap or select the group header to open Group Info.
- Scroll to MEMBERS.
- Select Add Friend to Group.
- Use Search name or number... when needed.
- Select one or more eligible friends.
- Select Add.
Web
Follow the same Group Info path. The browser action is also Add Friend to Group, with Search name or number..., Cancel, and Add.
Expected result
MYOPL reports how many members were added and the new members appear under MEMBERS. People already in the group display Already a member.
If a person is not listed
- Confirm that you and the person are MYOPL friends.
- Their privacy setting may prevent group additions.
- The group may limit adding members to admins.
- No contacts found means no eligible friend matches the search.
- MYOPL shows Please select at least one contact if you select Add without choosing anyone.
Use a group invite link for someone who is not yet your MYOPL friend.
