Suggest a Club Edit or Claim a Club

Before you begin

You must be signed in and able to open Club Info. A suggested edit changes profile information after review. A claim requests management access.

For the fastest claim result, sign in with the same email address stored for the Club director or organizer.

iPhone, iPad, and Android

Open Clubs > My Clubs and select the Club chat.
Tap the Club name or header to open Club Info.
To correct information, select Suggest an edit, change the necessary fields, and select Submit.
To claim an unclaimed Club, select Claim this Club, review the confirmation, and select Claim.

macOS and Windows

Select Clubs from the side navigation and open the Club from My Clubs.
Select the Club header to display Club Info.
Select Suggest an edit and submit the correction, or select Claim this Club and confirm the claim.

Web

Open the joined Club conversation and its information panel.
Select Suggest an edit, or select the claim action if it is offered for the unclaimed Club.
Complete the fields shown by that web flow and submit the action.

The direct myopl.net management site and browser Messenger can use different claim forms and review workflows. Follow the fields displayed in the flow you opened.

Expected result

Suggested edits are staged for administrative review. The live Club remains unchanged until an administrator applies the correction.
A Messenger claim is approved automatically when your account email matches the stored director or organizer email.
A nonmatching Messenger claim is sent for administrative review.

If the claim action is missing

Join the Club and open its conversation before opening Club Info.
Claim this Club appears only for an unclaimed Club.
Confirm that your MYOPL account has the correct email.
A Club already claimed by another manager may require help from that manager or MYOPL Support.
