Choose Your Username

Before you begin
Choose a username that you are comfortable using publicly. Other members can use it to find your MYOPL profile.
On every platform
- During account creation, enter your choice in Username or the @yourname field.
- Use letters, numbers, or underscores.
- Finish creating the account.
Expected result
MYOPL saves the username in lowercase and displays it with an @ where appropriate. The name must be unique across MYOPL members, courts, clubs, and OPLs.
Change an existing username
The current Settings → Account screen displays Username as read-only. It does not provide a username-change control. Contact MYOPL Support if an existing username needs attention.
If the username is rejected
- Choose another username if MYOPL says it is already taken.
- Remove spaces and punctuation other than underscores.
- Choose an appropriate name; MYOPL rejects prohibited language.
