Troubleshoot Signup and Sign-In

Before you begin

Keep the exact error message visible when possible. These checks apply to iPhone, iPad, Android, macOS, Windows, and web unless a step names a specific platform.

Phone code does not arrive

1. Confirm the country code and mobile number.
2. Wait for the current request to finish.
3. Select Resend or Send Code once.
4. Confirm the phone can receive SMS and is not a premium-rate or shared-cost number.

The code is rejected

• Enter all six digits.
• Use the newest code.
• If verification expired, request another code.
• If the signup session expired, restart phone verification; the browser may preserve the completed form.

The phone number is already registered

Return to Sign In → SMS Verification and sign in with that number, or use a different number to create a separate account.

Email or username sign-in fails

1. Check spelling and capitalization.
2. Try the account's email address or username.
3. Select Forgot password? if the password is unknown.

Account creation is rejected

• Password must contain at least eight characters and match the confirmation.
• Email and username must not already be in use.
• Username should use letters, numbers, or underscores.
• Select a resolved location suggestion.
• Gender and Date of Birth are required.
• The account holder must be at least 13.
• Terms of Service and Privacy Policy must be accepted.

MYOPL says registration is temporarily paused

MYOPL may display a registration hold when capacity protection is active. Read the hold message and try again later; repeatedly submitting does not bypass the hold.

Connection problems on any platform

1. Confirm another website or app can reach the internet.
2. Reopen MYOPL Messenger or reload messenger.myopl.net.
3. Request a new code only after the connection is stable.
4. If the problem continues, record the exact message and contact MYOPL Support.

Expected result

After the blocking field, verification, or connection issue is corrected, MYOPL completes account creation or opens the signed-in Messenger screen.
