Manage OPL Information and Roles

Before you begin

This article applies to an ordinary OPL conversation. Regional rating records do not have an ordinary chat, member list, or Event administration.

Open OPL information on iPhone, iPad, and Android

1. Open OPL’s > My OPL’s.
2. Open the OPL chat.
3. Tap the OPL name or header to open OPL Info.
4. Review its details, Events, linked venue, members, and available actions.

Open OPL information on macOS and Windows

1. Select OPL’s > My OPL’s.
2. Select the OPL conversation.
3. Select its header to display OPL Info beside the chat.

Open OPL information on the web

1. Open the joined OPL conversation.
2. Open its information panel.
3. Review the actions available to your account.

Suggest an information change

1. Open OPL Info.
2. Select Suggest an edit.
3. Change only the incorrect information.
4. Select Submit.

Unless you are a MYOPL site administrator, the correction is staged for review. Being the OPL creator or a linked Club official does not make a suggested profile edit apply immediately.

Event-organizer roles

The current Event controls recognize MYOPL site administrators, the OPL creator, a linked Club official, and a linked Court administrator as organizers. Organizers can receive Add Event and Event-management actions. Other OPL members receive Suggest event details instead.

Expected result

• A suggested OPL edit leaves the live information unchanged until review.
• An organizer-created Event saves directly when all required schedule information is valid.
• A member's suggested Event is submitted for organizer or administrative review.

Current limitations

• There is no pending-edit or pending-Event tracker for the submitting member.
• Messenger currently allows any joined venue member to submit the initial OPL request. That is separate from Event-organizer permissions after the OPL exists.
• Do not use a regional rating record for these steps.
