Controlled administrator testing
Platform Tennis is being prepared with its own venue and scoring context.
MYOPL is preparing Platform Tennis for controlled administrator testing; it is not yet a public member feature. A completed set is stored as games won: 6–0 through 6–4, 7–5, or 7–6 after the approved set tie-break. Only authorized MYOPL administrators can test this sport while its complete discovery, administration, result, rating, and reporting path is being validated. Other members continue to see pickleball.

Naming and scoring
The governing association calls the sport Platform Tennis and notes that it is often called paddle tennis. MYOPL uses Platform Tennis as the canonical editorial label so it is not confused with unrelated paddle sports.
The APTA scoring rule awards the set at six games with a two-game margin, continues 5–5 to 7–5, and uses a seven-point tie-break at 6–6. The resulting set score is 7–6.
What the match form stores
| Stored value | Included | Not included |
|---|---|---|
| Set score | Final games won by each team | Individual points in each standard game |
| Tie-break set | Final set result of 7–6 | The tie-break’s internal point sequence |
| Match context | Sport and actual participants | A generic facility-wide sport guess |
Facility-specific administration
A Club that offers Platform Tennis and six other sports may have a different responsible administrator, description, rules, and schedule for each sport. Those fields should remain attached to the facility-sport record rather than overwritten by another sport’s profile.
